Occasionally there are
members who step out of the ordinary or go above and beyond simple participation.
At these times special titles are earned which appear under their names
in the forums. It's our way of recognizing contributions and accomplishments
that set these members apart.
"Senior
Member"
Senior Member status
is achieved when a member has been active in the community for 5 years
and has made at least 600 posts. If you're reached this goal contact any
of the GOTF members
and an Admin will add Senior Member below your avatar.
The
"Iron
Butt" Award
The Iron Butt award
is given to members who ride the farthest, overcome adversity, and obstacles
to make a meet. It is given to those who prove these old SOHC CB750s and
their riders still have it. Our way of saying "Helluva Ride!".
The Lowrider Teddy Award
according to Viking (A.K.A. 750slb) was started by him and Slick (A.K.A.
Lestat99) in 2003 after a picture emerged of our own LRT in a Teddy and
got overwhelming guffaws and laughter. Viking and Slick got together and
had a plaque made to thank LRT for his support and dedication to the site
and brotherhood. It was titled "The Lowrider Teddy Award" and intended
to acknowledge commitment and service to the site and brotherhood above
and beyond the norm. It lapsed for some time but was revived in 2009 and
will be awarded each year at the WHCM.
